TOPIC: Gamers onto tv! | FROM: Arran (email private)
Seeing a clip of the pilot episode, I think this'd be the kind of show I as a gamer would love! I would like to have this on TV somehow or someway, through sleet, snow and Zerg. Okay maybe not Zerg, but you get my point. We gamers need some better exposure as being more...well, HERE! Yanno?
Yours Sincerely

Gamers: The Show | FROM: Eric (email private)
Hey man just wanted to let you know that I saw your trailers and website and thought it had a lot of potential, so I went ahead and gave it a good plug on my site: http://mediumentertainment.blogspot.com/ along with a banner. I'm a huge lifelong gamer and it would be nice to see a show about characters I can relate to, and sadly, that is most of the people I saw on those trailers. Anyways, I definitely plan to periodically check the site, but if you want to let me know about any updates to plug on my site, let me know. -Eric Chrisman
TOPIC: Gamers | FROM: Nate (email private)
I found this site, looking for interesting things to do/watch. So far, this show is very true in the eyes of us gamers, and I think that it would make a great show. This show really needs to get picked up, and as I said, Its a great show. Wishe you the best, Nate.

TOPIC: Great Show | FROM: Kaitlin (email private)
Hey my name is Kaitlin, and I just watched the trailer because an aquantence of mine was in the trailer, playing a vampire it looked like and I just wanted to say that I really hope your show does get made because it looks like it would make for a great series. I'm not really much of a gamer but I'll watch anything for a good laugh and this looks like it would provide for that! Just trying to help support local creative persons. Good luck on "Gamers"!
TOPIC: Gamers FTW (or the hoarde, or whatever) | FROM: Meatshield (email private)
Hey Ben, my name is Meatshield. At least, that’s what most of my friends know me as. I think you’ll like my story.
I too have been playing games since literally I was old enough to walk, starting out on the original Mario. I’ve always had a knack for games and I plan to become a video game designer. That’s not the weird part though!
When I was 12 I was introduced to MMOs and Everquest. I’m 18 now so I’ve been in the MMO scene for a while. I played EQ for two years on a off, nothing serious. Then I finally got bored and quit. I then played various MMOs and none of them grabbed me. Until I found Star Wars Galaxies. I’m a HUGE Star Wars nerd, so I got into that. I met a bunch of people in a guild, and for the next 2 years I played with them, growing increasingly bored yet unable to quit because of the friends. I even finally became a Jedi, which if you’ve never heard of the system was a grind from hell that makes getting to 60 in WoW look like a cake walk. I spent 6 months doing the same repetitious grinding, because there was nothing else to do. I finally got to become a Jedi, a dream I had held for the first year and a half I played the game. However since the system allows Jedi to be hunted and killed by Bounty Hunters for a huge experience loss, I went into hiding. Hiding involved grinding in a area with a known bug that would allow you to be immune to Bounty Hunters. I was there with about 100 other Jedi, and for a month straight, 10 hours a day during the summer I got my Jedi to the highest level you could attain. Literally 4 million experience points, at a rate of about 400 a kill, were gained by me. After that I was done, and could care less about the hunters. But there was nothing left to do but PvP, which had seen it’s peak. Then, about 2 months later, they changed the game so that anyone could be a Jedi from day 1. I threw down my hands on my desk and called it quits. Two years of effort and grinding down the toilet.
I got off of the MMO scene. I couldn’t grind anymore. I have been and continue to try every new MMO that comes my way, but not even World of Warcrack can hold my attention. So I joined a persistent FPS clan.
Now we aren’t a clan in the traditional sense. I’m with Battlefield 2 Combat (bf2combat.net) and we are broken up into 6 armies. When I joined almost a year and a half ago we were the 101st Airborne. Now we are the 1EU, and use the Euro Forces weaponry. I started out as a private. Now I’m a captain of the armor brigade, a group of people who do just about nothing but drive the tanks and APCs of the game. I’ve been doing that for a year now, and I’ve made some amazing friends. They’re crazy as hell, but fun to be around.
All that to say that I recently met up with some of my 1EU brethren in New York, and in person. It had to be the nerdiest and coolest moment of my life. Now I’m 18, the youngest guy there was 21, and the oldest had to be in his 40’s. One was a 27 year old Computer Science major who was fluent in French, English, and Spanish, wrote a book on Web Design. Another was an IT professional for a company, enjoyed pipes and fountain pens. And on and on. It helped that one of the guys who was from New York picked up the tab for everything, which included a fair amount of alcohol. Nerds know how to party ;)
My life is pretty nutso nerdy. I’m about to retire from BF2 Combat for various reasons, but I know I’ve got to have some of the craziest guys. Some of my real life friends are the kind who say “pwned” in real life or “lol” when they laugh. Über is also a term sometimes used.
Feel free to pull jokes from any of that. I REALLY hope you guys get on a network. I want to see more!
~Meatshield
TOPIC: What a great idea for a show! | FROM: Michael (email private)
I watched the trailer and the webcam videos on youtube and I think they really capture the feel of obsessive gamers. I also thought the pen and paper RPing vampires were incredibly funny! :D
I hope you can get picked up by a network and I look forward to seeing the show produced!
Wishing the show the best,
Michael

TOPIC: Love the show | FROM: Jordan (email private)
Hey Guys,
Watched the trailer and the webcam rant of Kaylan's after seeing it on digg. This is some great content and when i was done watching all I wanted was more. I really hope you guys can get put on tv and if not there are other options, such as producing a dvd and just selling it through your site. I would definitely be one of the first customers. Good luck and hope everything goes well.

TOPIC: Gamers | FROM: Alex (email private)
So, yeah, that pilot looks like the time Carlos Mencia went to the Renaissance Faire. Were you thinking of having any halfway normal characters? The ones in your pilot are pretty much nothing like anybody I know.
God, is Carlos Mencia a douchebag.
TOPIC: I WHoo | FROM: Ben (email private)
Ben,
I like the trailer it was funny. I don't think main stream audiences would get it or understand it. I think you should take a more Pure Pwnage approach to distribution. You keep control of the project,if you option it out to a network or cable you won't be able to keep control. The show will lose integrity and it will change from your vision. Check these sites out if you already haven't.

It is important not lose control of a project you clearly love, and love to make.
Thanks,
~Ben~
TOPIC: I approve of gamers | FROM: Donald (email private)
Unfortunately, as a lowly Asian teen trapped in a desolate corner of northeastern Tennessee, my approval does little. But if this show made it to any of the major networks - or even became a regular internet broadcast, I would most definitely be one of its biggest fans. Gaming culture is growing increasingly faster and the networks will most definitely be trying to capitalize on it soon (the appearance of nerds in modern TV is significantly higher now than it was a decade or two ago).
If there's anything I can do (save trying to bring gaming to the acres of farms I live near), let me know. I'll definitely spread the word to the few people I know around here that game. Also, kudos on the trailer, I found myself laughing at several points. Then again, as a WoW addict, seeing WoW jokes in any form usually makes me giggle like a little schoolgirl. Good luck :)
TOPIC: about gamers | FROM: Jillian (email private)
Hey,
Saw your trailer (My best-friend's little brother was involved slightly...or something like that...? Small world.) and I think its pretty funny! Anyway, I saw the shit going around on digg and just wanted to send you a little bit of encouragement. Its funny, and who knows, it could get picked up! (But you're probably way to smart and cool to let any of that get to you, eh?)
I'm an actor originally from Spokane and anytime any of us in the Spokaloo artistic community even kind-of-sort-of makes it (and I'm talking even crappy regional dinner theatre) I celebrate. So, I commend you and your endeavor, and I really, really hope it works out for you!
Um...that's all. Have a great day!
~Jillian
TOPIC: love the trailer and video blog!! | FROM: Dwayne (email private)
I just saw this from Digg and loved it!!
The show has extreme potential for all age groups. It reminds me a bit of Freaks and Geeks - and that's a good thing.
I am a 43 year old gamer who has never grown out of games! I have shown this to my wife, kids and friends and they all love it and identify with so much in it.
Please make this show happen!! I would love to watch it!!
VH1 should produce it for you - or get Leo Laporte to put it in his Twit cadre of online programming!!
Thanks!!
I'll keep spreading the word......

hey, i just wanted to comment on your show idea. i think the main ideas are very good, very entertaining. a little less melodrama type 'comedy' and this would be perfect in my eyes. and good job finding a cute gamer chick. good luck, i'll definately tell my gamer friends and keep checking the site for progress.

I saw the trailer/pilot and it looked pretty good. Not really offensive, but quite funny. I think that it might do well if the word was to get out.

You're in Spokane. I'm in Portland. We're practically neighbors. Brothers, even. Lemme know how I can help make the show a reality. A suggestion for the blog - you should use WordPress so people can post comments to your posts and subscribe to RSS feeds and whatnot. If you'd like help installing WordPress, gimme a holla
